One of my new favorite dishes to make (and eat) are these four ingredient turkey sliders. They're moist, flavourful and easy to assemble - which is a godsend after a long day at work. We like to grill them but they can also be popped into the oven just as easily.
Here's how to make them...
- Saut a handful of finely chopped red onion in olive oil. In a large bowl, combine the onion with 1 pound of ground turkey. Add 2 to 3 tablespoons of chopped fresh thyme and 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard; season with salt & pepper. Combine well with a fork. Gently form mixture into four small (or two huge) patties. Using your thumb, make a small indentation in the center of each pattie.
- Heat grill to medium-high heat. Grill sliders for 5 to 7 minutes. Turn over; grill until cooked through, about another 5 to 7 minutes.
- Or you can bake them at 450 degrees on a baking sheet until sizzling, 10 to 12 minutes.
- Serve with lettuce & cranberry mayo (so delish - just equal amounts cranberry sauce & mayo).
Bon apptit, friends! I hope you like these as much as we do.
